xTex integrates directly to 3D CAD programs like Browzwear V-Stitcher, Clo3d and Assyst Vidya as well as Autodesk Vred, Blender and Modo for automotive, design and visualization purposes.
With the xTex software you can then easily make the textures seamless and prepare them for use in all common 3d applications. Consequently, the acquired data is processed using sophisticated algorithms which are able to extract the visual properties of the swatch and store them in so called texture maps.
The device takes multiple pictures of the fabric swatch in different lighting conditions using a high resolution camera. Our system consists of a material scanning device and a software part. In 2013 Vizoo 3D started to developed the xTex technology (Vizoo scanning) – and now offer a powerful toolset that creates physically-based textures of material surfaces.
